Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA)

Military Sealift Command (MSC) T-AOE-6 Class Machinery Controls Replacement

The primary mission of the T-AOE-6 Class is to conduct underway replenishment. ECS is supporting the replacement of the Machinery Control System (MCS) in these ships. ECS assists the MCS project design team during the pre-award, and post award phases of the contract to replace the MCS by providing program management and technical reviews of MCS CDRLs including software and hardware documentation. We provide specialized engineering services to assist MCS’s project design team, which is a combination of MCS and industry personnel. ECS develops design requirements, review products, testing and installation oversight, and performs optimization and problem resolution after the new MCS’s are put into service.
